Summer Concert

A Shropshire Lad

The Queen's Hall

Monday 25 June, 7.30pm.

Senior Orchestra, directed by William Conway, featuring renowned young British Baritone Marcus Farnsworth singing English Song Cycles: Butterworth's "Six Songs from a Shropshire Lad" and Vaughan Williams' "Five Mystical Songs".

The Choristers of St Mary's Cathedral with the School's Junior and Senior Choirs, String Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble will also feature in this summer celebration.

St Mary’s Music School is one of the nine specialist Music and Dance Schools the UK (and the only one in Scotland)  funded by the UK Government and providing the finest training in Britain. It is a co-educational, non-denominational specialist music school, offering a world class standard of music and academic education to musically gifted children aged 9-19 years.
