Wind and Brass Academy
Sunday 7th March and 15th March, 4pm to 5.15pm
Open to school-age flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon and brass players
We're delighted to be running the SCO Wind Academy once more. The Academies are a free opportunity for you to work with expert Scottish Chamber Orchestra (SCO) musicians over two Sunday afternoon sessions online with material sent out beforehand. The Academy will focus on audition prep and orchestral excerpts.
Who can apply?
The SCO Wind and Brass Academy is open to school-aged flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, French horn, trumpet and percussion players who have reached at least Grade 6 standard and who are able to commit to both sessions.
What will I learn?
The aim of the Wind and Brass Academy is to:
· give you a chance to hone your performance skills
· receive constructive input from professionals
· develop the skills that will help you successfully take auditions
