As the head of a specialist music school, I can appreciate how the move to the former Royal High School would help St Mary’s Music School to achieve their aim of providing the highest possible standard of education and training to exceptionally gifted young musicians.  Having recently enhanced our own facilities at The Purcell School, we can appreciate how the proposed plans would further improve the quality of  specialist music education available in Scotland and the UK.  It is heartening to know that there is the financial backing to allow the project to proceed and I very much hope that St Mary’s Music School is able to embark on this exciting project.
