Graham Burnside

Graham Burnside was educated at George Heriot's School and Edinburgh University.  After qualifying as a solicitor he worked in industry and for the EU before returning to Edinburgh and joining Tods Murray LLP, where for a number of years he headed the Banking & Finance department and was latterly the firm's Chairman. 

He is currently a Consultant with Shepherd and Wedderburn LLP, with which Tods Murray amalgamated in 2014. He was for many years a Governor and the Hon Secretary of St Columba's Hospice, Edinburgh, of which he is now an honorary Vice President. 

He has always maintained a keen interest in music, both as a listener and as amateur pianist, organist and member of various choirs, and is a director of the New Town Concerts Society.

St Mary’s Music School is one of the nine specialist Music and Dance Schools the UK (and the only one in Scotland)  funded by the UK Government and providing the finest training in Britain.
