Giving the Gift of Music
Your support is instrumental
St Mary’s Music School has charitable status and, as Scotland’s only specialist music school, entry is based entirely on musical ability and potential, not on academic ability or financial status. Thanks to the Scottish Government Aided Places Scheme and affordable parental contributions, we are able to deliver a world-class music education to around 80 day and boarding pupils from 9 to 19 years.
However, we also need to fundraise every year and the fullest extent of our work is only made possible through the generous philanthropy of trusts, foundations, organisations and individuals.
Your support can help us bridge our annual funding gap, but also allows us to enrich the music experience we offer our pupils and to share our music making as widely as possible through our extensive community engagement programme.
From a generous contribution to our Scholarship Fund to a commitment to our Annual Fund, or supporting a key initiative like the Seven Hills Project, there are a variety of imaginative ways in which you can give the gift of music.
