Saturday Music Classes
The best way to begin
Does your child show an interest in music? We would love to welcome you to our long-established and ever popular Saturday Music Classes (SMC) for children, held at St Mary’s Music School during term time.
In a safe and caring social environment, some 150 local children discover the wonders of music, helped by experienced staff qualified in working with children through the arts. The emphasis is on having fun, while engaging young children in the magic of music making. Families find St Mary’s Music School to be a vibrant and friendly place in which to spend time and catch up with friends, and our lively café is an ideal venue for parents to catch up with each other too, during lessons.
Our group classes are lots of fun and help children to learn in a supportive and friendly environment where they encourage each other. Classes are for beginner level up and individual lessons are also available.
Year-by-Year Instrumental Programmes
In September 2023, we introduced a new scheme for all pupils learning an instrument through one of our groups classes, that offers a combination of classes at a great value price for parents. We’d like to encourage children to come to Saturday Music Classes to participate in a range of different activities. Interested?
