St Mary’s Music School Launches Alumni Ambassador Scheme
St Mary’s Music School is proud to announce the launch of our Alumni Ambassador Scheme, a new initiative designed to celebrate and engage the achievements of our former pupils.
The scheme aims to honour those who have excelled in their musical careers and beyond, whilst also providing an opportunity for current pupils to benefit from the wisdom, experience, and networks of our distinguished alumni.
The Alumni Ambassador Scheme is part of our mission to foster a lifelong connection between the School and its former pupils. As Ambassadors, these alumni will serve as role models, offering guidance and mentorship to the next generation of instrumentalists and singers. In addition, they will represent St Mary's Music School at events across the UK and internationally, promoting the values of creativity, inclusivity and community that are at the heart of our School.
We are delighted to announce that our first four Ambassadors , Aaron Akugbo (pupil from 2007 - 2016), Eve Boulos (pupil from 2015 - 2021), Angela Hicks (pupil from 2007 - 2010) and Sofia Ros (pupil from 2016 - 2020) have already pledged their support and we look forward to working closely with them.
Strengthening Bonds Between Alumni and Current Pupils
Through this initiative, we aim to create meaningful connections between our alumni and current pupils. Our Ambassadors will offer insights into their professional journeys and provide valuable support to our pupils as they embark on their own musical paths. These interactions will be instrumental in helping our pupils navigate the challenges of a career in music and realise their full potential.
Looking Ahead
We are confident that the Ambassador Scheme will strengthen the sense of community that has always been central to St Mary’s Music School. Stay tuned for more updates on our Ambassadors, their work, and their upcoming activities as part of this new initiative.
