Improvisation Short Course
The Improvisation Short Course offers a unique opportunity for young musicians to explore the art of improvisation in a supportive and creative environment.
Led by Hilary Michael, with assistance from Anna Michels, this course allows participants to develop their skills and confidence in improvisation, regardless of their prior experience. The course has been created specifically for children aged 10 to 18 with at least two years experience on their chosen instrument.
Whether you are new to improvisation or have some experience, you’ll have the chance to play with other musicians and explore a wide range of musical styles. Throughout the course, participants will gain valuable insights from two versatile musicians, unlocking their creative potential and developing their own musical style.
The Improvisation Short Course will run from 8 to 10 August 2025.
The 2025 Improvisation Short course is a non-residential course and the fee is £300 incl. VAT.
