SCO Wind Academy and SCO String Academy

We are delighted once again to be partnering with Scottish Chamber Orchestra to deliver Wind and String Academies this autumn and again in the Spring.

These free academies are open to aspiring school-aged string and wind musicians who have reached Grade 7 or above and who are able to commit to a series of sessions. They provide the opportunity to join Scottish Chamber Orchestra musicians online to explore some fantastic (and challenging) repertoire to help develop your skills.

The two online courses will run over a series of three Sunday afternoon sessions in November 2020. We will provide video practice materials the week before the first session, and you will then take part in two Zoom sectionals and a final playthrough. There are no auditions and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
