Claire Telford

Claire Telford graduated from the Royal College of Music in 2003 under Professors Natalia Boyarsky and Andriy Viytovych. As an ABRSM Scholar, Claire gained PGDip (Dist) and BMus(Hons-1st Class) and went on to perform as a regular guest with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House -Covent Garden and London Chamber Orchestra as well as regular solo and chamber recitals. In 2001, Claire was invited to join the staff of the world renowned Yehudi Menuhin School where she taught Violin and Viola until 2013. Several of her students have gained scholarships to study at RCM, GSMD and Cambridge University.

Claire now lives in Perth with her young family and is delighted to be working at St Mary's Music School.

St Mary’s Music School is one of the nine specialist Music and Dance Schools the UK (and the only one in Scotland)  funded by the UK Government and providing the finest training in Britain.
