The Life of a Chorister is Full of Opportunity

Despite their young age, choristers are professional musicians, and as such there often get involved in exciting ventures from radio and TV broadcasts, CD recordings, singing at the Edinburgh International Festival and international tours.

The opportunity to perform around the world is one of the many unique highlights of singing in the St Mary’s Cathedral Choir. International tours are regularly undertaken and the choir has visited France, Hungary, Norway, the USA and Canada, Vienna, Prague, Taiwan and Japan.

The choir toured Germany, performing to sell-out audiences in summer 2015, and will be visited the USA in 2018 for performances in Nashville, Little Rock, and Memphis.
