Apply to study music as a day or boarding pupil - for ages 9 to 19
Applications to study music at Scotland's specialist music school are welcomed from talented young musicians from the UK and abroad. Places are available for young people who are age 9 to 19. Boarding places are usually open to applicants who are age 12 and over.
Up to 100% financial support is possible for pupils from the UK and is based on affordability. Financial assistance may be available to outstanding international candidates.

Apply to become a Chorister - for ages 8 plus
Boys and girls can join St Mary's Music School as a chorister from age 9 and will be expected to stay for the five year programme. Children younger than 9 can join for a probationary year and also come along on a Tuesday evening for choir practice. Choir School places are only available to day pupils.

Apply for Saturday Music Classes for children age 4 to 14
Children age 4 to 14 are welcome to apply for Saturday Music Classes. Group and individual classes are available from beginner level upwards. There is no audition and places are avaialble on a first-come, first-served basis.

Apply for a Music Summer School - for ages 13 to 19
We intend to run our music summer schools in 2022.
