Building on the success of the SCO String and Wind Academies, we are delighted to announce the SCO Percussion Academy, new for 2021. The Percussion Academy welcomes timpani, tuned percussion, and other orchestral percussion players who have reached at least Grade 5 standard. Drum kit players who have some experience playing in an orchestra are also encouraged to apply.
If you don't have your instrument at home you can still join in discussions about practice methods and audition tips and even learn how to create your own instruments at home using household items.
There is no fee for SCO Percussion Academy.
