Djordje Gajic
Djordje began his musical studies in Yugoslavia. He is a graduate of the Russian Academy of Music, continued postgraduate studies at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and was appointed Assistant to Yuri Dranga. Djordje has won many international competitions, including Tropheo Mondiale in 1988 and the Grand Prix 1987. He has also received many awards of outstanding merit leading to television and radio broadcasts.
He has performed at international music festivals and with Russian State Symphony Orchestra and Royal Scottish National Orchestra as well as giving many solo recitals throughout Europe: Russia, Serbia, Andorra, Holland, France, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Norway, Bahrain and Britain. He also teaches at Douglas Academy of Music, Glasgow and is a professor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
