India (S6),violin, Alexander (S6), piano, Michelle (S4) piano, and William (S4), violin, will be joining close to 160 other teenagers from across to United Kingdom to make up the orchestra.

S6 pupil India Reilly wins the coveted Directors' Recital Prize for 2023. 

The St Mary’s Music School Instrument Library, a newly established initiative, has successfully raised £20,000 through community support to kick-start its mission of providing high-quality musical instruments to young musicians. 

On Thursday we welcomed Louise Lansdown, renowned Violist and Head of Strings at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, to the school for Viola Day.

St Mary's Music School is excited to announce its upcoming annual Spring Concert, which will feature the premiere of "Castle Rock," the seventh and final composition in the Seven Hills Project. The piece was composed by David Horne and is based on the poem ‘The Castle Rock’ by Alexander McCall Smith.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming renowned violinist Gaby Lester into school. After a full day assessing our first study String Recital Assessments she stayed with us for a second day to give masterclasses and a performance.
