Academic Choices
Depending on where you intend to go on to study, we will work with you to identify the best academic options. This is likely to include A Level Music but you may also have the option of taking on a new language, as well as the chance to continue your studies to a more advanced level in a wide range of academic subjects.
Our class sizes tend to be extremely small at senior level, between 2 and 12 pupils, so you can be sure of dedicated attention.
We have an excellent reputation for our academic and music results, and the vast majority of our pupils are successful in their applications to conservatoire, music college, Oxbridge or Russell Group universities.
Amelia (Piano, Clarinet), who is in her S6 Extension year, has secured a place at both Durham University and King’s College London (Music) and is currently studying A-Level Music and Higher French.
Misha (Guitar), who is in S6, has secured places at five music colleges to study Guitar and is studying A Level Music and Advanced Highers in Physics and Mathematics.
Both students have two hours of one-to-one instrumental tuition a week.
