Due to Covid 19 we have taken the difficult decision to cancel this year's Strings Summer Course. The course will take place in the Summer of 2021 and if you would like to be considered, please email us (fduncan@st-marys-music-school.co.uk) so that we can add your name to the mailing list.
Are you a committed violinist or cellist looking to improve your skills in a specialist yet supportive and relaxed environment?
If you are at Grade 6 or above (or equivalent) then why not join us this July for an exceptional strings summer school taught by the faculty of Scotland’s National Music School. The Strings Summer School is is led by Artistic Director and Head of Strings, Will Conway, with Francis Cummings and Ruth Beauchamp.
The Strings Summer School is open to just 14 students (7 cellists and 7 violinists) and takes place at St Mary's Music School in the heart of the beautiful city of Edinburgh.
Students arrive on the afternoon of Sunday July 12th and will depart on at 5pm on Friday 17th, following an informal concert to which friends and family are invited.
Residential accommodation is in twin ensuite rooms.
OPEN TO AGES 12 to 16, GRADE 6 AND ABOVE.
COST: £800 RESIDENTIAL / £600 DAY
