Pupils and staff celebrated the end of term and the end of the school year with a prizegiving ceremony held in a marquee in the grounds.
After an eventful year brought about due to Covid 19 restrictions, this year's Prizegiving took on a different form with the event held in a marquee at Coates Hall. Unfortunately parents were not allowed to attend due to government guidelines but pupils and staff nevertheless made the most of the occasion.
Headteacher Dr Taylor reported on the year's extensive list of activities including the impressive list of online workshops, Celebrity 6 events, concerts and of course academic learning.
Head of School Eve gave a heartfelt speech encouraging pupils to make the most of all the opportunities they are given and to value and contribute to the sense of community, family and support available at the School.
Eve also joined S6 leaver Neil to play two of their own compositions on saxophone and keyboard and we said farewell to Latin teacher Mrs Horsey who has worked with the School for many years.
Next year we hope that we can once again bring our community of parents and supporters together to celebrate this important event in person and in the meantime, as our leavers prepare for the next stage in their lives, we wish them all well.
